Norwich, Mr Cosy’s birthplace, boasts not only mustard and Delia but also three of the best coffee shops in the country. Each offers something different. Why not try all three?
The Window [closed]
The Window is a tiny coffee shop (the smallest in the world, they say), but it has a big personality. Owner Hayley is one of the most passionate and likeable baristas in the country. So pull up a mini pew and enjoy the view at one of our favourites. Read our full review.
We’re very sad to say that The Window has recently closed.
Strangers Coffee House
Renowned barista Alex Sargeant runs this excellent coffee shop right in the heart of the city. The coffee and atmosphere are top notch. Read our full review.
21 Pottergate, Norwich, NR21DS. Open Mon to Fri 8.30 – 4.30, Sat 9.00 – 4.30.
Little Red Roaster
The veteran of the Norwich coffee scene serving excellent self-roasted coffee. Now with a new branch at 1a St. Andrews Hill (not on the map, below). Read our full review.
