This is a does-what-it-says-on-the-tin sort of café. It’s small and straight-forward, and a very good place to sip coffee in Richmond.
The walls are coffee-coloured to get you in the mood and the mugs have been painted specially for Sip (a nice touch). There are newspapers available, a couple of comfy leather chairs by the window and local art on the walls.
The service is friendly, and it’s in a convenient spot between the tourist information and the market place. As well as hot drinks there is a tempting choice of sweet things.
It may be small but it’s perfectly formed.
